Holder for RODE AI-Micro

The RODE AI Micro Audio Interface is ideal for smartphone filmmakers looking to significantly upgrade their audio quality. It is compact, offers stereo microphone inputs with plug-in power and preamps, and is powered via USB-C or Lightning.

After fiddeling a lot to get the RODE AI-Micro audio interface attached to a smartphone rig, I searched for holders you can buy. Rode doesn't provide any solution nor 3rd party manufacturers. Yet again I had to do it myself.

The holder is 3D-printed in rubber-like Ultrasint^® TPU01. The audio interface slides in and holds securely in place. A 1/4" screw is used to attach it to the cage. On some smartphone cages, the threads are not very deep. For this case, a rubber ring is included as a spacer.
